Pros: -Great traction -Speedy registration of clicks and movement of mouse. Sometimes blowing under the clicker can solve this issue but even if it is solved for a month or two it could persist later on randomly and eventually be un-fixable, even when trying to get inside the mouse which is why I bought another one here.
Overall this has to be one of the best if not the best gaming mouse I've ever owned. It has assisted me quite well while gaming via smooth traction and precision clicks all while fitting nicely in the palm of my hand.
Best part is I don't even need a mouse pad to use it on works on pretty much all surfaces just as good if not better than on a mouse pad. As a side note, don't be discouraged by the left mouse clicking issue all that much unless you're looking for a very long term mouse to use gaming wise which is hard to find these days sadly considering most mice have problems after extended usage while gaming. This is a rebadged Logitech G9 gaming mouse - even the configuration software is the Logitech software with an Alienware skin. Not that this is a bad thing A couple of things frustrate with this mouse though This is being used with my Alienware The unit I received shipped with an earlier version of Alienware Command Center if I read the CD correctly that does not work with the newer Alienware laptops.
Directions, however, have you plug the mouse in then run the setup utility on the disk. If you already have Alienware Command Center installed and if you have an Alienware computer, then you likely already do Although this is a rebadged G9, it does NOT include the mouse weights that came with the Logitech version.
For some this may be a deal breaker. As for use, it's certainly well built and gives you a ton of configuration options. I very much appreciate the ability of the mouse to adjust DPI settings immediately which certainly gives you an advantage in certain games. I'm happy with this mouse. My son bought this for gaming and purchased another one. He gave this one to me and I love it. It works very well. I have a couple of AW gaming machines and when I found this mouse I was able to finish one Aurora R3 and now it's fully restored!

This alienware mouse matches my laptop and has pretty glowy blue lights. I'm sold without even mastering its many features. I have a older Alienware system the parts are getting hard to find as the newer products replaces the order, I found this mouse and the price was not bad at all, as well as the time for delivery services It works great but this is the 2nd I have had to replace in 2 years,the cord gets broken easily.
One person found this helpful. Pads became unstuck and kept getting caught on fabric mousepad, replaced with vinyl. I found a replacement for my beloved Logitech G9X. This mouse is shaped basically the same. It doesn't have the weight system, but that isn't a big deal for me. I'm just happy I found a mouse that fits my hand! Had this same model, was about 5 years old when it broke. Bought this one and its the absolute best gaming mouse if you need tight control of the cursor.
